Programs
• Build on the skills learned in Levels 1 and 2 to help participants achieve basic water competency in a pool environment
Prerequisites:
• Step from side into chest-deep water, push off the bottom, move into a treading or floating position for at least 15 seconds, swim on front and/or back for 5 body lengths, then exit the water.
• Move into a back float for 15 seconds, roll to front, then recover to a vertical position.
• Push off and swim using combined arm and leg actions on front for 5 body lengths, roll to back, float for 15 seconds, roll to the front, then continue swimming for 5 body lengths.
Note:
Classes start June 2 - July 2, from Monday - Thursday, 6:00pm - 6:40pm. Make-up days for the first week will be on Friday of that week or 10 min will be added to each lesson depending on the day of the cancellation, if need be. For the 2nd week, if there is a cancellation, makeup days will be that Friday or the following off week.
Swimming attire is required. Please bring towel and a change of clothing if you choose to change.
