Programs
• Improve participants’ proficiency in performing the swimming strokes that were introduced in Level 3
Prerequisites:
• Jump into deep water from the side, recover to the surface, maintain position by treading or floating for 1 minute, rotate one full turn then turn as necessary to orient to the exit point, level off, swim front crawl and/or elementary backstroke for 25 yards, then exit the water. Move into a back float for 15 seconds, roll to front, then recover to a vertical position.
• Push off in a streamlined position then swim front crawl for 15 yards, change position and direction as necessary, swim elementary backstroke for 15 yards, then exit the water
Note:
Classes start June 22 to July 2, from Monday - Thursday, 7:20pm - 7:50pm. Make-up days for the first week will be on Friday of that week or 10 min will be added to each lesson depending on the day of the cancellation, if need be. For the 2nd week, if there is a cancellation, makeup days will be that Friday or the following off week.
Swimming attire is required. Please bring towel and a change of clothing if you choose to change.
